Friday September 25, 2009 - Book Orders are due. Please return all book order forms in an envelope, marked with the student's first and last name, and class and grade number, with the correct amount of cash for the order. Please no checks or money orders. Please give the envelope to Mrs. Schnupp, do not leave it on the teacher's desk, and do not give it to anyone other then Mrs. Schnupp. Students who put their envelope anywhere other then in Mrs. Schnupp's hand can not be guaranteed that their order will be placed or their envelope returned.
Wednesday September 30, 2009 - The last day to hand in September Book Reports. Book reports will NOT

Monday October 19, 2009 - First Quarter Projects are due for 7th and 8th grade. 10 points will be deducted each day the assignment is late.

Tuesday November 17, 2009 - We received confirmation that Mayor Hardwick accepted our invitation to be the guest speaker at the our Student Council Debates on Tuesday, November 17. The Mayor is expected to arrive at 9:45 AM. At this event (at the Presbyterian Church) the student's each plan to present their platform for running for each RCA office (President, Treasurer , Secretary etc).Mayor Hardwick will honor us with this short visit since he does have a another engagement in Freeport right after. The mayor plans to speak briefly to the platform for which he won the election. "He won the election on a platform promising to make the Village a safe, clean, and green community for individuals and families to live, work and play. Within the first month of taking office, he has reached out to the local clergy, business community and schFeburary 2, 2010ool officials to launch his Zero Tolerance on Crime Campaign. In addition, Mayor Hardwick is organizing a clean-up day involving the various organizations in Freeport, including the Little League and the PAL Group. He also plans to establish a Life Guard Academy at the Village’s Recreation Center."
Monday November 30, 2009 - Unit Test on The Pearl
The Test will be multiple choice. Students will be required to hand in their pre and post reading paragraphs on the test date. They will be reviewed and graded.

December 16, 2009 - 7th and 8th grade quarter projects are due. 10 points will be deducted for each day its late. Please see the "Projects" page for more information.

Feburary 2, 2010 Trip to Albany for 6, 7, and 8th Grade. Meet at RCA at 7:15am, departing at 7:30am. Bring a packed lunch.
